The story of 'The Room' follows our occult loving protagonist who gets an apartment for a very cheap price.
For the first few days everything seemed fine, but then weird things start happening when some special conditions are met.

What are these conditions?

What exactly is happening in the apartment?


Subjective Review :

At first I thought this game would be boring since yes, it’s quite text heavy. But then again, after the main character arrive at his mansion, everyhthing change. He wake up in the middle of the night just because a “prank call” and got locked up in his room, with the black out inside his apartment. He is trying to figure it out what happened in his cheap apartment since he found toys that belong to another boy. He suspected it’s belong to previous tenant, but when a shadow chase him and ask to give the toys back, he curious.

Truth revealed. There’s something unusual in the apartment before he bought it. There’s a previous tenant who got into some kind of ritual with sacrificing boys. The main character dragged into it and meets the evil spirit of the previous tenant. He desired for an immortal live and intends to possess the main character.

The story is quite plain for me, and the sound is surprisingly high in some scene, but expectable since this is a horror game, so you have to create a jumpscare event. The good points are:  I love when the maker thought about the traps and how it should end. Yes, if you don’t follow the steps about what you should you, you’ll meet the game over in no time.
