Hide and Seek 2 [ The Stranger ] Walkthrough - Gwyn's Story

This part it takes place at Dorothy's house, I assume. So, maybe it's quite familiar

General Walkthrough

1^st Floor

• Prologue
• Examine the Red Sign.
• Go to 1F East Hallway, examine the north door and the vase beside it. Obtain vase
• Go to 1F Room with Holy Water, fill the vase with Holy Water, and read the red book
• Go to 1F Entrance, and pour the holly water to red flowers over there, obtain light and perch
• Combine Light and Perch to obtain Torch
• Go to 1F Room with Holy Water, burn the cannibal flower to obtain 1F Reception Room Key
• Go to 1F Reception Room, examine under the table and obtain Puzzle 1
• Go to 1F Room with Chest, examine the wardrobe and barrel to obtain Puzzle 2 and Bronze arm of Statue
• Go to 1F East Hallway, examine the Bronze statue and give him the bronze arm to obtain a rusty sword
• Go to 1F Room with Holy Water, cut the rope on wardrobe and obtain Puzzle 3
• Go to 1F Reception Room,  read the note on the table and go to top right corner
• Solve the puzzle (answer : | . [] )
• Go to 1F Room with Chest, examine the barrel, obtain 2^nd Floor Key
• Chase Event ( Run to 2F stair)

2^nd Floor

• Examine the hanging flower’s pot in 2F Central Hallway
• Go to 2F Art Supplies’ Room, examine the easel to obtain palette knife
• Go to 2F Central Hallway, cut the boat painting and obtain White King Chess Piece
• Go to 2F Art Supplies’ Room, solve the chess puzzle (Answer : Place the white king piece two tiles below the Black King Piece)
• Go to 2F Stones’ Room, obtain red apple
• Go to 2F Room with Peacock Statue, change the red stone in its mouth with red apple
• Go to 2F Doll’s Room, Play Rock-Scissor-Paper with the middle doll. If you win, you will obtain Black Stone
• Go to 2F Stones’ Room, and put the stones in right places ( Black Stone is in the top, the red one is in the bottom), obtain marble
• Go to 2F Central Hallway, put the marble inside a circle in frame and move it (4 times to left then 3 times to right) to obtain dagger
• Go to 2F Doll’s Room, slash the blocking doll and examine the portrait
• Chase event (Return to 2F Central Hallway)
• Examine the flower’s pot, obtain box of 2F Guard Room Key

NOTE : IF YOU WANT A GUARD ROOM KEY, YOU HAVE TO PLACE ANYTHING BACK TO WHERE ITS BELONG

• Go to 2F Central Hallway, examine the circle in frame, take out the marble
• Go to 2F Stones’ Room, place marble in the chest, take out Black stone and Red Stone
• Go to 2F Room with Peacock Statue, change the apple in its mouth with red stone, obtain A key’s Head
• Go to 2F Doll’s Room, give the black stone to middle doll and obtain machete
• Slash the portrait, obtain necklace and A key’s tail
• Chase Event (go to 2F Central Hallway)

• Go to 2F Guard Room, WALK SLOWLY  to the center, and solve the puzzle (Answer : Chest number two, top right chest) to obtain 3^rd Floor Key
• Chase Event (Run to 3F Stair)

3^rd Floor

• Go to 3F Bedroom 1, examine the  triangle, and the drawing on the couch
• Go to 3F Bedroom 2, examine the plank on the wall, obtain a gold coin
• Go to 3F West Hallway, put the coin on the vault (insert 047) to obtain Head of Diamond Key
• Go to 3F Bedroom 3,  and the 2 minutes survival game begin

How to play :

• First, go to left drawer and obtain trowel
• Then go to left bottom vase and dig the soil to obtain heart shaped key
• Unlock the right top cabinet, obtain club shaped key
• Check out the mirror, insert the club shaped key, obtain Tail of Diamond Key
• Combine with the head to obtain Diamond key
• Unlock the Drawer, and obtain Joker Cards
• Go Outside

• Go to 3F Bedroom 1, place the joker card in a mountain of turf cards, and obtain 3F Balance Room Key
• Go to 3F Balance key, cutscene
• Go to 2F Guard Room, take the chain
• Go to 2F Room with Peacock statue, take a puzzle block
• Go to 1F Reception Room, take out 3 puzzle blocks
• Go to 3F Balance Room
• Cutscene
• Take the Last puzzle block from Dead Priest

 Sewer

• Open the Hidden Archive Room, find out the truth about Damian Family
• Check out drains to get 1F Key
• Ending

Ending

In this part, Ending divided to 5 routes. 4 bad endings and a true ending. To obtain the true ending, you have to unlock all 4 bad endings and complete all requirement. Also, it’s better if you separate the ‘save’ file for each ending since you can only obtained ONE ITEM from treasure chest.

Bad End 1

• Go to 3F West Hallway, put all the puzzle blocks in the board, obtain knife
• Go to unlocked door
• Ending

Bad End 2

• Go to 1F Room with chest, open the left chest to obtain Gun
• Go to 3F West Hallway, put all the puzzle blocks in the board, obtain knife
• Go to unlocked door
• Ending

Bad End 3

• Go to 1F Room with chest, open the right chest to obtain Butterfly Scissors
• Go to Sewer and cut the Priest’s necklace
• Go to 3F West Hallway, put all the puzzle blocks in the board, obtain knife
• Go to unlocked door
• Ending

Bad End 4

• Go to 2F Stones’ Room, obtain key of truth from the chest
• Go to Sewer and approach the new door
• Ending

True End

• Unlocks all Bad Ends
• Go to Sewer, open the new treasure chest
• Exit the Mansion
