Story :
There is a 5-year-old boy named Peter, who lives with his grandmother in a lonely cabin, his only pasttime being studying nature and observing a grey rabbit that lives under his window. Peter's life has always been monotone, but safe. But when he finds clues to the reason of his parents' death, he sets off in a horrific adventure in the world outside his home. And all along, the destiny of the familiar rabbit is connected to his decisions...
Subjective Review :
Peter know that his grandma forbid him to leave the cabin or enter her room. But one day, his grandma left him alone in the house after taking a lunch. As usual, grandma locked him inside the cabin and without she knowing, Peter try to explore what his grandma try to hiding. Once he got a way to enter his grandma's room, he found some things that made him curious more. The mark in the house, the pickaxe, but when he try to think about that stuff, his grandma come home and straight lock him at his own room.
With the pickaxe, he broke the door and explore the mark that he saw in the notes. Shocking truth, he discovered where is his parents went. Yes, his parents now buried under the cabin, still a mystery about the one who did that. But once he out from the hole, he found that his grandma acting weird. Before he had a chance to ask, his grandma once again left him alone in the cabin, but she never come back. So, the only way is chase after her.
Peter try to chase his grandma, but once he get out from the cabin, he can't go back inside, so he keep going. Collecting some stuff inside the forest, the ending is decided once he cross the bridge.
Yes, the ending split into two and so the true story of this game.
One, Peter go to Asylum since he is the one who killed the parents, the grandma and the bunny.
The other one, Peter go to Nursery since he is the victim of his grandma's doing. His grandma killed the bunny, killed the parents and ran away. And in this place, Peter meet someone to start his new life.
Okay, as for art, I love the art but to be honest, I am kinda disappointed that this game end that fast. There is still a few things left in mystery like : the water in the bucket that Peter found in the forest, or screwdriver that Peter found in the cabin. I still have no idea what the tools for.
But, I love the trick in this game as well.
Yes the good ending (wake up in nursery) is kinda tricky. If you didn't pick the drinking bottle underground, you'll get the bad ending whether you meet the old man in the tent or straightly going to the town.
Drinking bottle can be obtained if you go to hidden place under the ground through the crack (thanks to 1550 who told me about the cracked. It is my bad habit not to examined everything carefully).
But, if you already obtained the drinking bottle you can't obtain the bad ending.
