At a mountain road behind the school, a bus stop that went out of service twenty years ago, 【Amayado】―――
where bullied girl ”Chitose” meets a girl ”Kobato” waiting for a bus that shouldn’t ever come・・・

There's no guarantee that a kindness will repaid by a kindness too.
Chitose, who get bullied in the school has to accept her destiny that she got bullied even after school. Bully continue when someone told her to stole a wooden board from public cemetery and got chased by headless spirit. After she getting away. she meet up with Kobato, a girl who waiting a bus in Amayado shelter. Chitose can't see the bus coming, but Kobato insist, so because Chitose, Kobato can't go to her house.
Something really strange happening in the town. Chitose being chased event she is in her house, so they decide to go to school and explore something. Later, Chitose found out that Kobato is actually died over ten years ago. With Akane, Chitose also found that Kobato is one of the bullying victim. Kobato died because she told to jump from school building, and she did it. And when she about to go to the promised land, Chitose interrupted her, so Kobato want to take Chitose's life as replacement.
From my subjective, the plot is quite sad. When I get the true ending, I almost cry. Chitose is so pure and so kind-hearted. And she lived happily ever after with Kobato.... in a sadness way.

Hello there! I also played Amayado Bus Stop and indeed the True Ending was so depressing it hurt.....
ReplyDeleteBut apparently the game has a sequel called Twilight Epic (夕暮れ叙事詩) and it seems the True Ending isn't the canon one (like Mogeko Castle) so it's not so bad...
